Jersey Park - ideal for dog walking
Jersey Park – ideal for dog walking

We welcome well behaved dogs, cats and small pets to Tree Tops Guest House.  We know how hard it is when you have to leave your beloved pet behind when you go away so we offer pet owners the opportunity to enjoy a holiday with their pets.

Our Guest House is within a minutes walk of a large park called Jersey Park which is adjacent to Briton Ferry woods.  This is ideal for dog owners who want to be able to walk their dogs in a peaceful and scenic environment.

If you and your dog are fit you can walk to the top of Briton Ferry woods and enjoy the sights from the mountain top.

We are also located just a 5 minute drive from Aberafan Beach in Port Talbot. This 3 miles stretch of sandy beach and dunes is very popular and has facilities such as cafes and public toilets. There are sections which are open to dogs throughout the year (the main beach with promenade is closed to dogs from May 1st to 30th September) > view dog exclusion zone map

We can recommend other local places and walks which are ideal for dogs including the Gnoll Country Park in Neath.

The Gower Peninsula is a very popular destination for dog-owners as many of its beaches allowing access for dogs all year. These include Rhossili which was voted the UK’s No. 1 dog-friendly beach by The Times.
